Tomasz Adamczewski, our outstanding IT wizard without whose patience and committment we would not be able to hope for a communications center or participant registration engine that we have at our disposal now, is a Ph.D. Candidate and Assistant Lecturer at the Department of IT in Economics of the Karol Adamiecki University of Economics in Katowice, Poland.
In his academic work and in his work as a programmer, he is particularly attracted to the most inventive aspects of IT practice translating the physical reality of our world into a logical concept, and then modeling and coding software.
Since he has begun his work on his Ph.D. in September 2006, Tomasz has already submitted two texts for publication and has presented papers at two conferences.
A true lover of maritime culture, Tomasz is a devout yachtsman, a fan of sea-shanty and sea-bound literature. The latter, bearing in mind the context of this note, is now official.
